Supervision

I passionately believe in the human capacity to learn, grow, change, and reach their potential.  Throughout my career, I have seen the life-changing value of therapy and supervision (phew, I am in the right career!).

I obtained my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Antioch University in Keene, NH, USA in 2007, undertaking the requirements necessary (including two years of supervised practice) to become a Licensed Mental Health Counsellor. Upon returning to Australia, I was required to undertake the 5+1 Pathway to general registration. I have had the privilege of being supervised by some incredibly talented psychologists and social workers, who have helped to shape me, professionally and personally. Supervision forms a vital cornerstone of my clinical practice.

As a supervisor, I provide a safe space for you to reflect on your practice and the joys and challenges that come with hearing the deepest parts of human experience. I help you to find who you want to be as a psychologist and to practice in an authentic, value-led manner. Together we can conceptualise difficult cases, navigate therapeutic blocks and plan for optimal client outcomes. I am excited to be a part of your journey.

Clinically, my interests and expertise are working with trauma, substance use/addiction, high sensitivity, ADHD, autism personality disorders and complex presentations. I have advanced EMDR training in Relational Integrative EMDR, working with attachment, intergenerational and ancestral trauma. I also have extensive experience and passion for group therapy.
